Disney is set to begin streaming its upcoming live-action film The Jungle Book live online in 2019, according to a new report from Variety.
Disney has partnered with Vimeo to stream the film, which stars Kate Winslet and Nick Jonas, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Los Angeles.
The studio will release the film on Vimeo in 2019 for free and will also offer a pay-what-you-want subscription option to the service.
The Jungle Book was originally released in 2013, but was then delayed a year before it was released on Blu-ray and DVD in 2018.
The Jungle is a book series by Disney’s longtime cartoonist David Lopez, which tells the story of a village of jungle people who live in harmony with the earth.
It’s set in 2019 when the film opens in the UK.
