A teen who died in an accident last week in England’s west has been named as Richard Pemberton.
Police in Lancashire said the 17-year-old boy died from injuries sustained when he collided with a van.
Richard was in a Nissan Altima with three people when the crash happened near to St. Mary’s Church in the city of Bristol.
The teenager’s father, who is also a teacher at St. Margaret’s Catholic School, told the BBC that Richard had been studying to be a teacher.
Richard had been working as a driver for a car rental company, according to the BBC.
Richard’s father told the broadcaster that the boy’s friends had all been at the scene and that the driver had not been wearing his seat belt when the accident happened.
Richard, of St. Paul’s Road, had been a passenger in the vehicle that crashed into the building and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Bristol police said Richard’s death is being treated as a road traffic accident.
