The Redmi 5 is getting a free ad, which makes the phone the first of the major smartphones to be sponsored by the Indian telecom giant.
The ad is available for download on Redmi’s website.
The ad features a video of the Redmi smartphone running a game on a gamepad, and a few scenes of the phone being used by an app.
Redmi is also using the ads to highlight its upcoming flagship phone, the Redia4s, which will come with the company’s newest smartphone, the 5.8-inch Redmi phone.
The ad is the latest in a string of Redmi ads targeting Android users, but there are no official word on how much Redmi has paid for the ad.
The ads have not been downloaded by the Redias users, however, so it is unclear if Redmi will have to pay for them in the future.
Redmi has also paid for a number of similar ads on other Android smartphones, such as the OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 6, OnePlus 7, and OnePlus X.
